My stress levels were through the roof, when I was in my middle 30’s and early 40’s. I had one of the most stressful jobs you can imagine at that stage in my career and I had no tools or techniques to help me manage tress. Self-help books seemed useless and I just couldn’t find any workable solutions under my own steam. I really suffered, as did my family, because I was miserable and withdrawn all the time, worrying about work.
If only I had known then, the things I know now about how to manage stress and build resilience. This is why I trained in executive and resilience coaching, so I can help stressed out new executives like you, get to grips with and develop your leadership skills and resilience, so you can walk tall, with greater confidence and assurance.

Introducing the Supercharge Your Resilience Program
- Step 1: Measure Your Stress: Firstly we will establish and agree the coaching protocols and agreements (how it works, expectations, boundaries, business ethics and confidentiality, etc). Also, communication and reporting, including any other stakeholders; like company sponsor (boss/HR/L&D manager) where applicable. Then together, we'll measure your current stress levels, using a bespoke on-line stress level indicator.
- Step 2: Design & Orientation: We'll take a deep dive into your current situation, review your current support network and gaps to bridge in your leadership and resilience skills. Lack of resilience, is one of the main things holding many people back from performing at their very best. We’ll uncover and tackle some of your limiting beliefs around your own capabilities for building leadership and resilience and any specific early goals you may have.
- Step 3: Appraisal & Root Cause: Everyone is affected by and copes with stress differently and resilience is not a trait that some people simply have and others don’t. Resilience involves behaviours, thoughts and actions that can be learned and developed in anyone, which is what we’ll be doing, together with leadership coaching. We’ll practice and embed leadership and resilience tools and techniques, using current situations as examples to work through. We’ll perform a detailed 360 review of the current pressures in your role, the ways in which it impacts you. You’ll begin to discover how your own mind operates, how it can play tricks on you and how we can get it to work more with you, instead of against you. This will lay the platform for building better resilience and learning stronger leadership skill and coping strategies.
- Step 4: Resilience Program Design & Goals: From the 360 appraisal we’ll get a clear picture on exactly what YOU want to achieve over the next 4-6 months and from this we’ll design and agree a bespoke coaching program, especially devised for your specific needs. If you’ve developed any unwanted, or damaging behaviours in response to your stress, we will develop a separate coaching plan to address these problems as well. You’ll begin to feel that you really can become much more resilient, a better leader, and that you can succeed in your new role. You'll feel excited to learn and try out new resilience techniques in your daily life.
- Step 5: Create a New Reality & Perspective: As your coach, I’ll use a series of coaching techniques to encourage you to learn to SELF-MANAGE your own resilience pro-actively. Leadership strength and resilience, comes from understanding and learning techniques to be more in control of how your mind works and recognising and adjusting when it tries to play tricks on you. You will learn to become more SELF-AWARE, SELF-EMPOWERING, MORE CONFIDENT and better able to lead in the moment, without doubting yourself any more. You’ll also be able to leave your work, at work, instead of bringing your “work-head” home with you, which your family will appreciate, as they begin to see a much happier version of you. You’ll also be able to SLEEP MUCH BETTER, FEEL MORE POSITIVE & ENERGISED when you wake up in the morning and get ready for that really big, quarterly corporate meeting you have to lead, which used to terrify you.
- Step 6: Challenge & Change: We’re going to challenge and change your old paradigms, from passive to PROACTIVE, which will enable you to shape a more resilient lifestyle, integrating the mind, body and spirit. This will enable you to re-vitalise and re-energise yourself, so you can continue to thrive in the face of ongoing external pressures. You’ll learn how to cope with change, how to control your thoughts and emotions, rather than letting them take you down into self-pity and despair mode and we’ll create a much stronger sense of connection and meaning to your life. You’ll develop a resilience toolkit which is completely unique to you, in a way that connects with your inner, natural intuition about what feels right for you.
- Step 7: Transform Your Mindset: With practice (using real live examples) we’ll embed the best tools we’ve practiced for you into your psyche, so that you can call on them and use them whenever the going gets tough. You’ll discover a “SIXTH SENSE OF RESILIENCE” and you’ll learn many crucial things to sustain you as a resilient leader. With these long-lasting changes, you can maintain your resilience over the long run, so you can prosper and advance your career as far as you want it to go, without risk of detrimental impact to your health, wellbeing, home life or happiness. By the end of the program, you will truly feel SUPER CONFIDENT and with your new found resilience, you’ll feel that you’ve finally connected the missing link. THE SKY IS NOW THE LIMIT!
